Florian Zindler’s practice focuses on contentious matters before state courts and arbitral tribunals.

A particular focus is on advising and representing clients in the context of corporate and post-M&A disputes. He is also active as an arbitrator.

  • Party representation of the shareholders of a mid-sized engineering company (hidden champion) in post-M&A dispute
  • Party representation of a digital trading platform for cryptocurrencies in the defence against investor claims and European Account Preservation Orders issued by German courts
  • Advice and representation of (former) board members and senior group executives as witness counsel, including in large-volume proceedings under the German Capital Markets Model Case Act (KapMuG)
  • Sole arbitrator in DIS arbitration proceedings regarding commission fees for Consulting services rendered in connection with applications for biotech subsidies
  • Several legal opinions on German law in proceedings before the London High Court on behalf of an international corporation in connection with complex, international embezzlement allegations
  • Representation of a German technology company in state court (defence of a claim for damages by a US company seeking reimbursement of legal costs in US proceedings)
  • Party representation in DIS arbitration proceedings regarding price adjustments of high-volume long-term contracts in the energy sector, especially energy supply and gas storage contracts
  • Secretary of the arbitral tribunal in post-MA dispute under DIS Arbitration Rules and cross-border commercial disputes under the Arbitration Rules of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (ICC Rules of Arbitration)
